The accommodation was great value and modern so close to the Berner Oberland, Lauterbrunnen, and Interlaken, Grindelwald, the North Face of the Eiger and the Jungfraujoch. We really enjoyed the venue and its unbeatable and incredibly comfortable setting. Also, it was based down to the train station...

A friend recommended Residence Brunner to me and I'm so glad they did! The location was perfect, with stunning views of the mountains. The room was spacious and spotlessly clean, with fresh towels and bedding provided. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, making me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. The breakfast, although simple, was tasty and gave me a good start to the day. I also appreciated the option to prepare my own food in the lobby. I had a great stay at Residence Brunner and would definitely recommend it to others.

The views from the rooms were stunning, and it was very quiet and peaceful. An ideal base for visiting the Jungfraujoch.
Lack of information in the hotel with respect to activities to do. Lack of information on booking about the situation re getting to the hotel, and lack of transport around the village area. A difficult place with anyone with walking difficulties. Due to no access except by train, we found it difficult to get an understanding of the situation.

The room was quite comfortable, although basic (no tv for example), good view to maintains, quiet location, pc and free wi-fi (lobby & 1st floor only)
The hotel was almost empty, no services (even no breakfast), nobody on the reception.

Next to village ski run and ski bar.
The standard is very low and the whole hotel needs renovating

1. Location. 15 mintues walk along the uphill road after leaving the train station. The hotel already told us in the email and suggested taking electronic taxi. We decide to walk. It is ok. Not very tired. 2. From the train station all along the road you can see the sign of Hotel Brunner. 3. Hotel owner leave his phone number on the reception desk. If need any help can use the phone in the reception to call him and he is quickly there to help. 4. The breafast needs extra charge. But there is an microwave oven in the kitchen we can use. So we can grab some food in the COOP and heat up with microwave. 5.Room very clean. 6. Has elevator. 7. Yes wifi only in the public area. It works well.
No wifi in the room.

This hotel exceeded my expectations in so many ways. First of all, the value for money was fantastic. We booked a package deal and got so much in return. The room, while basic, was clean and comfortable. And the best part? The south facing balcony with a fantastic view of the mountains. It was breathtaking. The staff were also very friendly and attentive, making our stay even more enjoyable.
All was perfect, there was nothing to complain about.

The hotel is quiet and unfussy. The staff are ultra-friendly and the views are very good.
It's a long way up a steep hill, it's very quiet in the evening and the rooms are quite basic.

The location is good, clam & nice place to stay on background of Jungfra.
1. Poor facilities. They said that we can use oven for heating, but when we went there, it was not in working condition. 2. When enquired for electric convertor, the hotel staff initially said will get one but when asked again was rude in replying saying we dont provide it. 3. The lift of the hotel was quite dangerous, had only one door !!. 4. All though the balcony gave a good view of Jungfra, the wooden flooring was in bad shape with wooden pieces pears-ed out. 5. Also waking from Wengen station to Hotel is on a very steep path takes 15 mins.

I had an amazing stay at this hotel. The view from my balcony was absolutely stunning, with snow-covered mountains in sight. The hotel staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, and the continental breakfast included a variety of items, including eggs. The location was convenient, as it was not far from the train station and still close enough for easy transportation.
Nothing bad to say.

The ski in, ski out location was brilliant and only a 10min walk into town centre. Good price for a room and has all the basics.
The breakfast was over priced. It was 15francs per person and was only really nuts, yogurt, bread, ham and cheese. For 15francs I expected more. We had it the first morning and then cancelled it and just got some pain au chocolat from the bakers in town which was much better value and more convenient.
